Metering

The store IaaS Dashboard provides you visibility to your organization’s cloud (IaaS) resource data.

It allows you to view IaaS usage data using a variety of visualizations such as area graphs and bar charts. It displays the current usage amount and estimated usage amount. You can view top 5 instances and top 5 products by usage. It represents the overall instance status - the percentage of the instance which is running, stopped and terminated.

The dashboard will provide you a consolidate utilization of your IaaS resources of your customers. However, you can filter based on each provider. To view the cost trends of your IaaS resources, navigate to Dashboard > Metering, the Cloud Resources/IaaS Inventory page is displayed. This IaaS Inventory dashboard provides you the live information related to your resource data.
Note: You should have valid permissions to view or access IaaS dashboard. If the store administrator proxy into the store account and views the dashboards, then the IaaS Dashboard populates the usage data of all the customers registered under the store.
Note: The Jamcracker Platform also allow the Reseller / Store Admin to be able to order and consume SaaS and IaaS services through the store. The Reseller admin using the end user portal will be able to perform all activities that a Customer Admin of any organization is able to perform. Along with these additional privileges, the dashboards available at the end user portal allows the Reseller admin to view the dashboards related to his company as well as other customer companies of the store. Whereas IaaS Inventory and Recommendations dashboards restricts the view to accounts as configured for the Reseller Admin's organization. This is because IaaS Inventory and Recommendations dashboards are dynamic in nature and fetch live results from the ISV APIs. In order to get a view of the customer organizations' inventory and recommendations, the admin will have to proxy down to each customer's account.
